Your mission, should you choose to accept:

You won't be working in an ordinary legal department. Our rapid, international expansion and ambitious growth plans mean legal support is always in demand and there's a lot more happening here than the day-to-day legal business you'd expect at a hotel company. There's plenty on everyone's plate, but we never lose our The Social Hub DNA: we combine deep legal experience with an entrepreneurial spirit.

This is a temporary position, providing maternity cover for approximately 6 months, so you'll be stepping straight into an active, hands-on role.

As a member of The Social Hub Legal team, you'll get exposure to everything from working closely with our Legal Counsels on agreements and resolutions to compliance and corporate housekeeping. If you're structured, proactive, and want a front-row seat to legal work inside a fast-growing hospitality brand, we'd love to meet you!

In case you don’t know who we are…

Known for being the rule breakers in hospitality, TSH is a fun, creative and inspiring environment where everyone can work, stay, learn and play and most importantly – be themselves. As an employer we look, act and think like a hotel, but instead we offer a lot more. Think student accommodation, long and short stay options, gyms, talks, events, rooftop bar and eat & drink escapes as well as community and coworking spaces. Located in The Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, and the UK, with several new openings on the way, this hybrid hospitality concept may take root in the heart of Europe, but our plans are set for going global.

What You'll Do

  • Step in as maternity cover for one of our paralegals for approximately 6 months.
  • Support HQ and hotel teams with day-to-day legal issues, from answering questions that roll into our legal inbox to reviewing supplier contracts and guest requests.
  • Provide general support to the legal team by researching legal questions and drafting commercial contracts, addenda and NDAs.
  • Handle administrative duties such as maintaining Legal SharePoint and our Contract Lifecycle Management system, uploading contracts for signature, assisting with corporate housekeeping (e.g., updating structure charts) and supporting compliance matters (KYC-requests/UBO, etc.).
  • Work part-time, either two or three days per week (to be agreed upon hiring, but consistent from week to week).
  • You will work at our office in Amsterdam.

What You’ll Have

  • A bachelor’s degree in law.
  • Work experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, or student assistant/trainee (law firm or corporate).
  • A hands-on, structured, commercially minded approach.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Excellent spoken and written business English and Dutch. (German, Spanish, French or Italian is a bonus.)
  • Eligibility to work in the Netherlands.
  • A drive to keep sharpening your project management skills.
  • The discretion to manage sensitive and confidential information.
  • Great interpersonal skills and the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

What We Offer

  • The opportunity to work at a dynamic, multi-national company.
  • The chance to learn and grow in your role with the potential for future growth.
  • Awesome discounts in all our properties in Europe and not just for you, but also for your friends and family!
  • A wonderful workplace to call home, full of events, fun colleagues and all the other amazing salary/benefits stuff.

The Social Hub is much more than a hotel. In our boundary-blurring spaces we bring together a new generation of bold change-makers to connect, learn, stay, work, and play. Creating memorable experiences for our community of hotel guests, students, creatives, enterprising minds and anyone in between.
