Vanderlande is looking for a Program Manager Supplier Compliance to drive compliance excellence across our global supplier base. You will be part of the Procurement Strategy Office (PSO) and play a key role in ensuring that supplier-related regulatory requirements are fully embedded into our procurement processes.

As Program Manager Supplier Compliance, you are responsible for ensuring that our supplier ecosystem complies with existing and future regulations where procurement holds responsibility. You will translate regulatory requirements into actionable programs and drive implementation across suppliers and internal stakeholders.

This role is critical to safeguard Vanderlande against compliance risks while enabling sustainable and future-proof procurement practices.

What you will do

As Program Manager Supplier Compliance, you will ensure that regulatory requirements are consistently translated into procurement practices and embedded across the supplier base. You act as the linking pin between corporate compliance, which defines the ERM frameworks, policies and guidelines, and our procurement department planning and implementing the defined regulations.

You will lead cross-functional programs to ensure that Vanderlande complies with current and emerging regulations where procurement has a direct or indirect responsibility. This includes shaping implementation programs and driving their execution. In this role, you will take ownership of program governance, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement of supplier compliance processes. You will work closely with functions such as Compliance/Legal, Quality, Sustainability, IT Security (GISO), and Engineering to ensure an integrated and future-proof compliance approach.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks

Drive supplier compliance programs

  • Define, develop, and lead supplier/material compliance programs across key regulatory domains such as REACH, RoHS, Cyber Security, EUDR, and Battery regulations
  • Ensure timely implementation of compliance requirements across the supplier base based on ERM direction given

Ensure alignment with ERM and company compliance frameworks

  • Act as the procurement interface towards ERM and corporate compliance programs
  • Embed supplier compliance into broader company risk and governance structures
  • Ensure procurement responsibility is clearly defined and executed within compliance policies

Monitor and manage compliance performance

  • Establish KPI dashboards and reporting mechanisms to track supplier compliance
  • Identify risks and gaps in supplier compliance and drive mitigation actions
  • Support audits, assessments, and external regulatory requirements

Drive supplier engagement and capability building

  • Engage with suppliers to ensure understanding and adoption of compliance requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement in supplier compliance maturity
  • Support onboarding and qualification processes with compliance criteria

Lead cross-functional collaboration

  • Work closely with ERM, Legal, Quality, Sustainability, IT Security (GISO), and Engineering
  • Ensure alignment between compliance programs and operational procurement execution
  • Drive consistency and simplification across processes and tools

Governance, Compliance & Ethical Procurement

  • Ensure full compliance with Vanderlande procurement principles, ESG policies, safety regulations, and quality system requirements
  • Maintain proper documentation, archiving, and communication practices in accordance with procurement and project standards
  • Uphold ethical procurement conduct at all times

What you bring

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Experience (+5 years) in procurement or supply chain management, with a strong understanding of legal and compliance-related processes
  • Knowledge and practical experience with sourcing methodologies and tools, with familiarity with S2P suites being a plus
  • Proven track record in program/project management
  • Knowledge of regulatory domains such as REACH, RoHS, Cyber, EUDR, or similar
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across functions
  • Analytical mindset with ability to translate complexity into structured solutions
  • Proven ability to support the establishment and management of data collection events, including stakeholder communication, documentation, and process execution
  • Experience in developing and maintaining documentation to ensure high-quality and standardized category coordination activities
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 10% of the time
