What will you do?

As Manager Master Data Management, you will be responsible for the management, quality, and governance of master data within Mediq. You will lead the Master Data team and work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to optimize processes and support the organization in achieving its strategic objectives.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and develop the Master Data team.
  • Ensure and continuously improve data quality, data standards, and data governance.
  • Deliver agreed KPIs and SLAs related to quality, speed, service, and efficiency.
  • Identify and resolve master data-related system and process issues.
  • Initiate and implement continuous improvement projects within Master Data Management.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional representatives, and external suppliers.
  • Play an active role in system implementations, upgrades, and optimization initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, controls, and external regulations.
  • Translate the Mediq strategy into a future-proof Master Data organization.

You are a people-oriented leader who knows how to inspire teams while maintaining a strong focus on results. You combine strategic thinking with a hands-on mentality and can translate complex challenges into practical solutions.

In addition, you bring:

  • A completed university degree, preferably in Information Technology or a related field.
  • At least 8–10 years of experience in Master Data Management.
  • Proven experience leading and developing teams.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance, data analysis, databases, and enterprise applications.
  • Experience with SAP; experience with Cognos BI, Cognos Controller, and PIM solutions is considered a strong advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills and a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • A proactive attitude and a continuous improvement mindset.
