As a Clinical Education Training Specialist, you will play a key role in designing, delivering and optimizing advanced clinical training programs for Philips internal and external healthcare professionals. You will support the development of training curricula, ensure alignment with Philips technologies and clinical best practices, and collaborate with clinical leaders to elevate competency and clinical excellence across diverse healthcare environments.

Your role:

  • Assist in developing advanced clinical training programs tailored to the needs of various healthcare settings, aligned with Philips product advancements and clinical best practices.
  • Create and implement comprehensive training curricula for complex medical devices and systems, ensuring coverage of clinical applications and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Deliver dynamic and interactive training sessions, workshops, and simulations, both in-person and virtually, ensuring content is relevant, engaging, and up to date.
  • Implement effective learning strategies that incorporate e-learning, hands-on workshops, and simulation-based training to improve clinical capability and performance.
  • Work closely with clinical leaders, SMEs, and instructional designers to develop and refine role-specific learning curricula and solutions aligned with organizational and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead customer-facing demonstrations of clinical solutions and workflows, highlighting best practices, clinical benefits, and alignment with customer needs and objectives.
  • Evaluate training programs using feedback, assessment metrics, and performance outcomes; apply analytics to identify improvement areas and drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage logistical aspects of training programs, including scheduling, materials preparation, and coordination of venues or virtual environments.
  • Conduct in-depth training for clinical leaders and key opinion leaders on advanced product features and clinical workflows to drive proficiency and advocacy.
  • Update and modify training courses in the Learning Management System (LMS) to reflect new product updates, clinical practices, and training requirements.
  • Consult with healthcare organizations to identify training needs and tailor solutions to address specific clinical challenges and operational objectives.
  • Provide expert support and troubleshooting during clinical training sessions, ensuring practitioners can manage complex scenarios with confidence.
  • Assess and certify internal clinical trainers to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality education to end-users.

You're the right fit if:

  • Minimum 5 years of combined experience, including at least 3 years of clinical experience in the Radiology Technology domain and 2 years in clinical education, training, or instructional roles.
  • Proven experience in training content development within the Radiology domain.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver clinical training for Operators, Medical Physicists, and Radiologists.
  • Strong clinical and medical diagnostic expertise in imaging.
  • In-depth knowledge of radiation safety principles related to diagnostic imaging devices.
  • Hands-on understanding of Philips DXR (Digital X-ray Radiography) equipment in clinical use.

General & Professional Skills

  • Effective stakeholder management across clinical, technical, and commercial teams.
  • Strong operational planning and organizational skills.
  • Solid understanding of Clinical & Medical Affairs processes and standards.
  • Experience in training program management, including planning, execution, and evaluation.
  • Ability to perform training needs assessments and align learning solutions with clinical and business needs.
  • Fluent in English. Dutch is a plus.
