You & your role

As Consultant Job Architecture & Skills, you know the secrets of translating workforce needs into clear, scalable frameworks. You develop and implement Rabobank’s global Job Architecture, define standards and governance, and prepare the organisation for a skills-based future. Working with colleagues across human resources, business and technology, you create a foundation for workforce planning, career development, internal mobility and organisational agility.

Practical examples

  • Facilitate workshops with human resources and business leaders to translate organisational changes into updates to the Job Architecture framework.
  • Define job families, career paths and governance principles with subject matter experts and stakeholders.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable Workday and skills-related solutions with human resources technology teams.

Responsibilities

As Consultant Job Architecture & Skills you will be:

  • Driving the development and implementation of Rabobank's global Job Architecture framework.
  • Establishing and maintaining governance, standards and processes that ensure long-term quality, consistency and scalability.
  • Ensuring the Job Architecture framework remains relevant and adaptable to changing business needs, workforce developments and technological advancements.
  • Serving as one of the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Job Architecture and Skills, shaping strategic decisions, guiding stakeholders and driving best practices across HR, business and technology domains.
  • Guiding stakeholder alignment and adoption across HR, business and technology domains.
  • Translating strategic workforce and talent priorities into sustainable Job Architecture and Skills solutions.
  • Contributing to the successful delivery of Rabobank's Job Architecture transformation programme and translate the programme into a solid BaU operating function.
  • Helping shape and embed Skills as a strategic capability within the bank, supporting talent development, workforce planning and internal mobility.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive ownership and continuous improvement.

Although this role is primarily focused on Job Architecture & Skills, you will join a collaborative Strategic Workforce Management team which also focusses on workforce planning and organizational design. We believe in developing talent through continuous learning, knowledge sharing, and exposure to a broad range of workforce topics. This means you will have opportunities to grow beyond your initial area of expertise and contribute to other strategic initiatives across the SWM area.

You & your talent

  • Academic working and thinking level.
  • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in Job Architecture, skills management or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of Job Architecture and skills-based organisations.
  • Experience translating business needs into scalable frameworks, standards and practical solutions.
  • Analytical and consultative skills to navigate complexity and turn insights into action.
  • Experience connecting strategy, processes and systems across human resources, business and technology.
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including senior leaders.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in English, with Dutch preferred.
  • A proactive, results-driven mindset and an interest in the future of work, artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.
