Developer Yokai

Je werkt bij Rabobank in een internationaal team aan de bouw van het nieuwe Analytics Platform voor alle production-ready en enterprise-grade data science-modellen. Jouw werk stelt honderden data scientists en model developers uit onder meer Financial Economic Crime Fighting, Retail en Marketing in staat om hun modellen op een compliant en gecentraliseerde manier te ontwikkelen en uit te rollen.

Dit is een hands-on senior rol voor een infrastructuur- en netwerkingenieur met architectuurverantwoordelijkheid: je bepaalt en ontwikkelt de technische richting voor de kern van het platform terwijl het opschaalt naar enkele duizenden gebruikers.

You & Your Function

• Own the network architecture: set and evolve the platform's network topology and set-ups (IP ranges, DNS, VNets) in Azure, and later AWS, making the design decisions that are hard to reverse once it serves a few thousand users.
• Build governed self-service: turn a team's request into a running environment through infrastructure-as-code, so onboarding happens on paved paths rather than manual support.
• Set the standards others build on: create the abstractions, golden paths, and guardrails that let teams move fast safely, and make the platform self-explanatory rather than dependent on your time.

• Design and implement infrastructure components for Azure.
• Train juniors and other teams in the utilization and extension of our platform.

The 50 people of One!Prod serve the entire Rabobank to provide an enterprise-grade platform for data scientists to carry out their work. Collaboration is our approach; as a member of team Yokai, you will help ensure the usage of enterprise-grade and enabling analytics services.

You & Your Talent

Must-have

• Deep, hands-on experience with Azure networking at scale, including VNets, DNS, IP address planning, and network topology, with a feel for the decisions that are hard to reverse once a platform serves many teams.
• Infrastructure-as-code with real state discipline: thinking in terms of state, drift, and resource ownership, not just running deployments. We use Pulumi as our primary tool; experience with Terraform or Bicep transfers well.
• Governance and policy-as-code: designing and enforcing guardrails at scale, including policy, least-privilege identity, and secure-by-default automation, so the platform stays compliant as it grows.
• Ownership: ability to lead smaller initiatives front to back with 1-2 engineers.
• Delivery fundamentals: CI/CD with Azure DevOps and Azure Pipelines, and comfort in at least one language such as Python, TypeScript, or C#.

Nice to have

• Databricks on Azure and Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs).
• A working understanding of analytics and data-science workflows, enough to build the platform they run on.
• Exposure to AI services or AWS, for example Azure OpenAI, Azure Foundry, or AWS Bedrock.

Soft skills

• Abstract thinking, strong communication, motivation to improve processes, proactive, team player.
• Energy to engage with users of vastly different backgrounds almost daily.
• Eager to keep learning, because this field is anything but static.
• Good command of English. Dutch is purely optional.
