HR Internship in Amsterdam

We are looking for collaborative partners, dedicated achievers, and effective communicators to join Stryker as an HR Intern in Amsterdam.

As part of the Northern Europe HR team, the HR intern will have the opportunity to work across HR projects and processes related to employees. The position is based in our Stryker European Office in Amsterdam, supporting both the Netherlands and Belgium sites with over 700 employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting HR Business Partners and HR Specialists/Leads with administrative duties, analysis and HR processes
  • Contributing to HR projects such as engagement, talent management, compensation and benefits, payroll and health management
  • Supporting employees with employee verification processes
  • Supporting with employee queries via tickets and emails and/or being first point of contact for employees for various topics

  • Proven ability to drive execution while always meeting deadlines.
  • Must be outcome driven and take responsibility/accountability for tasks.
  • Ability to produce quality work while prioritizing multiple simultaneous deliverables and working in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills along with presentation, written and verbal communication skills.

Requirements

  • You are enrolled at a European university in a bachelor's degree or master’s degree program for the duration of the internship.
  • Good knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • EU working rights are required

Preferred

  • Dutch language
  • Preferred field of study: Human Resources, Business, General Management, Communication, or a relevant field.
