Senior Software Engineer

As a software engineer, you'll contribute to our international growth by building robust software systems for our (Gen)AI solutions on major cloud platforms.

We are currently looking for senior talent to help shape the technical solutions in one of our GenAI domains: Emerging or Customer Experience.

In the Emerging Domain, you will focus on cutting-edge innovation to build what others are only reading about. You will work on topics such as autonomous AI agents, advanced work assistants, and Agentic AI platform engineering.

In the Customer Experience (CX) Domain, your focus will be on redefining the user journey. Your mission is to work on advanced Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems and conversational AI.

YOUR IMPACT

• You are more than an engineer. You are a Tech Lead, builder, and consultant in one.
• Design and build robust software systems for our end-to-end (Gen)AI solutions
• Take systems from idea to production deployment
• Make architecture decisions and ensure scalability
• Lead teams of engineers
• Translate business challenges into technical solutions
• Work with Python, GenAI, and cloud technologies (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Explore, design and implement software and cloud architecture with a focus on security, reliability, scalability, testability, etc.
• Lend your technical expertise to client conversations to successfully start new opportunities

Time allocation: 70% client project work + 30% research, internal domain work and more. ML6 is not an outsourcing firm; agents work on projects together with a team of colleagues where autonomy is highly valued.

WHAT YOU BRING

• 4+ years of working experience architecting and engineering large-scale applications and services in a cloud environment
• Proficiency in Python
• Proven track record in delivering end-to-end solutions to production
• Affinity with the GenAI space and Agentic workflows
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Strong communication skills, both technical and non-technical, in English
• Familiarity with MLOps principles and a passion for building robust, scalable systems
• Experience leading projects or small technical teams

Please note that relocation outside of Europe is currently not possible for this position.
