Group Communication Manager

As a Group Communication Manager based in Wezep, you take the lead in shaping and executing Plukon Food Group’s international communication strategy. You play a key role in strengthening our brand positioning and reputation across multiple countries, working closely with senior leadership and local teams. What will you be doing?

As Group Communication Manager, you are responsible for steering all internal and external communications across the group. You ensure consistent messaging, strong stakeholder alignment and a clear positioning in all countries where Plukon operates. In addition, you will focus on the following areas:

• Developing and safeguarding the group-wide communication strategy and brand identity, ensuring consistent positioning and execution across all countries.
• Leading PR and public affairs activities and managing media relations, ensuring strong visibility and a coherent external narrative.
• Developing and executing crisis communication frameworks and acting as spokesperson, ensuring timely and consistent communication during critical situations.
• Aligning with the board, management teams and external partners, acting as the central point of contact for all communication-related topics.
• Combining strategic thinking with a hands-on approach and translating plans into concrete actions and results.
• Leading the group communication team and coordinating local communication professionals, ensuring clear guidelines and compliance with communication policies.

Who are you?

• Bachelor or Master degree in Communication, Corporate Communications, Public Affairs or similar.
• Minimum of 8 to 10 years experience in a senior communication role within an international organization.
• Proven experience in strategic communication, PR, crisis communication and stakeholder management.
