Modelica and Dymola Simulation Engineer

ALTEN is looking for experienced Simulation Engineers with expertise in Modelica and Dymola. You will contribute to the development, validation and optimisation of simulation models for complex onboard equipment and systems. Working as part of multidisciplinary engineering teams, you will use system-level modelling and simulation to support design decisions, performance analysis and system verification activities.

The Position

• Develop and maintain simulation models in Dymola/Modelica.
• Model complex physical systems, such as mechanical systems, hydraulic systems, thermal systems, electrical systems, and control systems.
• Perform simulation studies and analyse system behaviour.
• Validate models against test data and engineering requirements.
• Support system design, integration and verification activities.
• Collaborate with system architects, design engineers and control engineers.
• Produce technical documentation and reports.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of modelling and simulation methodologies.

Required Skills & Experience

• MSc or BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Systems Engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with Modelica and Dymola.
• Experience in physical system modelling and simulation.
• Strong understanding of system dynamics and control engineering.
• Experience with multidisciplinary engineering environments.
• Ability to independently develop, validate and troubleshoot simulation models.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English.
