Job description

Develop, implement, monitor and realize the sourcing strategy for the Logistics & Packaging category within company requirements and guidelines, ensuring delivery of agreed business objectives with Business Units and Group Functions while contributing to the overall success of dsm-firmenich ANH SolCo.

Your key responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the category strategy and implementation roadmap for Logistics & Packaging in Europe.
  • Lead deployment of category strategies and prioritize procurement initiatives across the region.
  • Prepare and lead fact-based negotiations, supplier selection activities and contract management processes.
  • Manage procurement initiatives in close alignment with stakeholders, business functions and procurement colleagues.
  • Build, develop and manage strategic supplier relationships and ensure effective Key Supplier Management (KSM), including contract compliance and performance monitoring.
  • Drive knowledge sharing, collaboration and standardization across procurement teams by providing category expertise and promoting procurement best practices.
  • Contribute to the development of dsm-firmenich ANH SolCo indirect procurement strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strengthen procurement's profile and value proposition within the stakeholder community.
  • Support cost reduction, cash optimization and responsible sourcing objectives.

You bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Procurement or a relevant business environment.
  • Extensive experience in logistics, warehousing or packaging sourcing.
  • Experience within international and multicultural environments.
  • Fluent English; additional languages are advantageous.
  • Category management expertise.
  • Strategic thinking and execution.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical capabilities.
  • Advanced communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Negotiation and demand management expertise.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and strong ownership.
