The Job

As a Supply Chain Officer, you play a key role in ensuring our daily logistics operations run smoothly within a fast-growing company. Your main focus will be on managing import of the nuts, dried fruits and seeds by container shipments from origin to our warehouses in Europe. In this role, you will act as the central point of contact between suppliers, logistics providers, warehouses, and internal teams. You’ll take ownership of operations and resolve issues as they arise. What you’ll do:

  • Manage inbound shipments, from booking through to final delivery
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, transport providers, and warehouses
  • Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve delays or issues
  • Ensure timely customs clearance and accurate documentation
  • Oversee warehouse activities and maintain accurate inventory records
  • Work with ERP systems to keep logistics data up to date and reliable
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and optimize costs
  • Collaborate closely with teams such as Trade, Finance, and Sales

Who Are You?

You are someone who takes ownership and enjoys making things run smoothly. You’re organized, detail-oriented and able to keep an overview even when multiple shipments and deadlines are moving at the same time. You don’t wait for problems to escalate but you spot them early and take action. You’re comfortable working independently but also enjoy collaborating with others and communicating clearly across teams and external partners. In a fast-paced environment, you stay calm, structured, and focused on solutions. In addition, you bring:

  • Strong knowledge of import container shipments, international transport, and customs documentation
  • Experience working with ERP systems and solid Excel skills
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines at the same time
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, warehouses, and internal stakeholders
  • A good command of Dutch and English. German is considered a plus

Our Offer

A unique opportunity to work within a fast-growing international operating company. We are always open for a conversation to discuss your individual needs, but please note we offer the following:

  • An excellent package of primary & secondary working conditions, including a competitive base salary, holiday allowance, an attractive bonus, and 28 vacation days.
  • A dynamic and collaborative environment with opportunities for professional growth and development.
  • The opportunity to shape the logistics foundation of a rapidly scaling business, gaining invaluable experience in developing supply chain solutions from the ground up.
