As a Technical Department Intern (Stagiair Technische Dienst), you will work alongside our experienced Engineering team and play an important role in ensuring that our facilities, equipment, and guest areas remain safe, efficient, and in excellent condition. No two days are the same, giving you the opportunity to develop a wide range of technical and practical skills.

This internship starts in September 2026 and offers a full-time learning experience aligned with your study requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Engineering team with daily maintenance and repair tasks throughout the hotel
• Support preventive maintenance activities to ensure hotel facilities operate smoothly
• Participate in inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities
• Learn about and assist with the maintenance of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems
• Help identify and resolve technical issues while ensuring minimal disruption to guests
• Support sustainability and energy-saving initiatives within the hotel
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and work orders
• Work closely with different departments to ensure a seamless guest experience

Essential Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an Engineering, Facilities Management, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related study programme
• Good communication skills in English, written and spoken
• Hands-on and proactive attitude
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Eligible to complete an internship in the Netherlands

Preferred Requirements

• Previous technical experience through studies, work, or personal projects
• Interest in maintenance, facilities, and hotel operations
• Basic knowledge of technical systems and tools
• Dutch language skills are preferred

We provide a monthly allowance of €550, with full coverage of job-related expenses.
