Job Summary

Working as a member of the global Infor CoE team (Center of Excellence), you will support and drive best-practice usage of the ERP and ERP-related solutions across the Civil and Defense Business Lines. While the initial focus will be within the Netherlands, the role also includes support and engagement across global sites.

GKN Fokker is transforming Baan ERP software into the latest version of Infor LN, making this an exciting time to join the team and help drive standardized ways of working across the Aerospace and Defense business.

As the Technical Application Specialist, you will combine technical expertise with business process knowledge to ensure the ERP environment delivers maximum value to the organization.

What you will do

• Support ERP LN implementation.
• Test and verify system functionality within new and existing systems and solutions.
• Work alongside other global IT functions, including IT operations, security, project management, and IT business partners.
• Ensure the business is aware of the latest capabilities and drive standard application best practices.
• Patch and update systems.
• Install certificates and manage servers.
• Control and support the change request process.
• Provide business support, including incident management, training, and discussions.
• Support and supervise projects, including work with external parties.
• Keep professional knowledge up to date.
• Optimize business processes with the latest technology.
• Provide expert support to business users, including incident resolution, user guidance, and training.
• Participate in and lead ERP-related projects with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Continuously identify opportunities to improve business processes through technology and automation.
• Stay current with the latest Infor technologies and industry developments.

What you'll bring

We're looking for a proactive and collaborative professional who enjoys solving complex challenges and working in an international environment.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Information Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in ERP applications, implementation, or application support.
• Strong knowledge of and hands-on experience with Infor LN.
• Technical knowledge of Infor OS and Local Runtime Environment (LTR).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and teamwork.
