Your role in our shared journey

Located at our EMEA headquarters in Hoofddorp, near Amsterdam, you'll contribute to our mission by ensuring the financial integrity and accuracy of our Direct-to-Consumer operations across the region. As a DTC Financial Control Executive, you'll play a vital role in managing monthly financial closings, maintaining internal controls, and providing valuable financial insights that support strategic decision-making for our retail channels throughout EMEA.

Your role will be instrumental in weaving the fabric of our movement, bringing unique perspectives and driving innovation with every step.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Execute monthly financial closing activities for Direct-to-Consumer channels across the EMEA region (mainly retail) whilst ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Verify the completeness and accuracy of DTC-related accounts for all regional stores in accordance with established standards.
  • Support the end-to-end execution and delivery of turnover statement audits, ensuring efficiency and timeliness.
  • Support statutory, interim, and year-end audit deliverables within specified timelines.
  • Maintain J-SOX internal controls documentation in compliance with established standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Act as a trusted business partner on financial control matters, providing analysis, recommendations and support for decision-making.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives for month-end close procedures, reconciliations, audit support and control documentation frameworks.

You have the following skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Economics.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in an international environment.
  • Accounting background, experience with retail accounting/processes is an advantage.
  • Exceptional numeracy skills and strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and collaborative abilities.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
