For our team in Nijmegen, we are looking for a Lead MedTech Operator - Production who combines hands-on production work with team leadership responsibilities in a regulated MedTech environment. In this role, you will support the manufacturing of an innovative product used by patients worldwide while helping to coordinate daily operations and support the development of the production team.

As a Lead MedTech Operator, you will spend a significant part of your time performing production activities according to GxP guidelines and established procedures. In addition, you will act as a key point of contact within the team, support production planning, and work closely with both the Site Lead and the client's Production Manager to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Manufacturing the product according to procedures, Good Manufacturing and Documentation Practices and the quality standards of the area.
  • Preparing and completing documentation for the various manufacturing steps.
  • Preparing and verifying batch components.
  • Inspecting product quality according to specifications.
  • Cleaning the work area to avoid contamination and/or mixing of products.
  • Conducting regular one-on-one meetings with team members to support their development and engagement.
  • Supporting the Site Lead by providing insight into team performance, challenges, and improvement opportunities.
  • Assisting with production planning and helping to ensure resources are effectively allocated.
  • Acting as the primary operational contact for the client's Production Manager.
  • Supporting the onboarding and training of new operators.
  • Leading by example through professionalism, accountability, and a strong commitment to quality.

Qualifications

  • You have an MLO or HBO degree, preferably in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • You have 3-5 years of experience in a production environment, preferably within MedTech, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or another regulated industry.
  • You have demonstrated leadership skills and enjoy coaching and supporting colleagues.
  • You communicate effectively with operators, management, and client stakeholders.
  • You are organized, proactive, and able to maintain oversight in a dynamic production environment.
  • You have a strong focus on quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • You are fluent in English, both spoken and written.
