Junior eCommerce Specialist

A Perfect Fit

As a Junior eCommerce Specialist, you'll play an important role in ensuring our digital stores are always up-to-date, inspiring and optimised for the best customer experience. Being part of the eCommerce team, working closely with Marketplaces & Marketing, you'll help bring our seasonal campaigns and product launches to life while continuously looking for ways to improve performance.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Keeping our websites and marketplaces up to date by onboarding new products, maintaining product information and ensuring all launches happen on time.
  • Creating an engaging online shopping experience through website merchandising in Nosto, optimising product placements and identifying cross-sell opportunities that increase conversion.
  • Managing website content by updating navigation, homepages and landing pages in line with seasonal campaigns, commercial priorities and brand strategy.
  • Supporting marketing campaigns by briefing the Marketing team on content requirements and ensuring promotions, campaigns and product launches are implemented and tested before going live.
  • Setting up commercial promotions, including vouchers, coupon codes and special offers, ensuring everything is configured accurately and delivered on schedule.
  • Contributing to website optimisation by supporting CRO initiatives, testing new website developments, reporting bugs and providing feedback to improve the customer journey.
  • Collaborating with the CRM & Email Marketeer to select the best-performing products for newsletters based on stock availability and commercial priorities.
  • Using data and performance insights to evaluate the effectiveness of website content, campaigns and marketplace activities, and proactively identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Preparing Shopify for key trading moments, including seasonal campaigns such as Black Friday, Summer & Winter Sale and new collection launches by updating themes and ensuring the website is fully ready.

What you'll bring

We're looking for someone who is eager to build a career in eCommerce and enjoys working in a fast-paced, international environment. You're organised, analytical and have an eye for detail, while always looking for ways to improve the online customer experience.

You'll thrive in this role if you have:

  • A bachelor's degree in eCommerce, Marketing or a related field.
  • Around 1 year of experience in a DTC eCommerce environment, or a relevant internship combined with a strong affinity for eCommerce.
  • A genuine passion for fashion, technology and digital commerce.
  • Strong analytical skills, with confidence working in Excel and managing large datasets.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately, even when juggling multiple deadlines.
  • A proactive mindset, taking ownership of your work and thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of Shopify, Google Analytics and Hotjar is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Who will you work for?

As a brand created to enjoy nature, we see it as our responsibility to actively preserve it and contribute to a cleaner, more sustainable world. Our Ocean Mission is how we stay close to Jack O'Neill's original words: "The ocean is alive, and we've got to take care of it".

What do we offer?

  • A challenging position in an international and dynamic environment.
  • Short communication lines and a creative place to work.
  • Health & Wellbeing programs, including HIIT & Yoga opportunities in the office and an Individual Wellbeing budget.
  • Staff discount, sample sales, and fun team events.

O’Neill, the original Northern California surf, snow, and lifestyle brand, was founded in 1952 by Jack O’Neill with one simple mission—to surf longer. Building on the legacy of the world’s first neoprene wetsuit and Jack's vision of creating functional and innovative products, O’Neill continues to enable and inspire people to enjoy their playground longer and continue to do what they love doing most.
