Since 2004, we've had one clear goal: to make payments and money management effortless for every business in Europe.

Today, more than 250,000 companies use Mollie to get paid, manage money and grow – with products designed to be simple, scalable, and dependable.

We're building for the long term, so we provide the tools you need, processes you can rely on, and a balanced work environment to help you do work you're proud of.

Sound like your kind of place? Let's build together.

Role overview

As Product Delivery Manager for Wallet & Ledger, you will be the accountable lead for one of Mollie's most technically complex and strategically important areas. Financial Services sits at the heart of Mollie's future. It serves existing payments customers, supports expansion across Europe and underpins the ambition to become a bank. The work happening here will define how Mollie scales globally, and this role sits right in the middle of it.

You will report into the Head of Product Delivery and work closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders across the business. This is a meaningful step up from execution-focused delivery work. You will own a substantial, ambiguous problem space and be expected to shape direction, not just follow it.

This is a role for someone who is decisive, technically grounded, and comfortable navigating complexity without a clear playbook. You will set the roadmap, identify the most critical problems and opportunities, and drive alignment across teams whose work underpins the financial integrity of Mollie's core platform.

What you'll ship

  • Own the problem space for Wallet & Ledger end-to-end, setting the roadmap independently and ensuring the team is aligned to Mollie's long-term objectives.
  • Lead the execution of high-stakes initiatives with precision, including the migration of all core accounting flows and the delivery of new APIs for money movements, targeting completion in early 2027.
  • Redesign core systems to ensure the financial integrity and regulatory compliance of safeguarded funds, working closely with engineering and cross-domain partners.
  • Act as the primary owner of stakeholder communication and alignment within and across the Financial Services domain, ensuring clarity and buy-in at all levels.
  • Identify relevant problems and opportunities independently, set priorities with confidence, and make decisive trade-offs when the path forward is unclear.

What you'll bring

  • At least 4 years of experience in Product Delivery Management or Technical Product Management, ideally within a fintech or payments environment.
  • A technical foundation, ideally from a software engineering or solutions architecture background, with the confidence to engage meaningfully with engineering managers on architecture and technical direction.
  • A working understanding of how money moves through systems, including concepts like ledgers, settlements, accounting flows, and banking infrastructure.
  • A proven ability to own complex, long-running initiatives from problem identification through to delivery, including migrations or platform decoupling work.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical topics into clear narratives and secure alignment from senior leaders and cross-functional partners.

Grow your way

At Mollie, growth is personal. We believe everyone should have the chance to develop their skills, explore new challenges and shape their career on their own terms.

You'll get regular feedback and performance reviews to support your development, with fair and transparent salary reviews along the way. Many Mollies move into new roles or take on new projects to stretch themselves, and we actively hire from within to help you take the next step.

No matter if you're aiming for promotion, exploring a different career path or building new skills, you'll be supported with the tools, trust and opportunities to grow your way.

Unlock your full potential and join us to eliminate financial bureaucracy.
