AI Productivity Internship

Join TomTom as a AI Productivity Intern in the Map Visualization Product Unit, where you will help improve quality-management processes through practical AI solutions.

What you'll do

• Interview product managers to surface repetitive tasks that are good candidates for automation
• Design and build AI routines that run on a schedule or on demand (e.g. decision digests, status summaries, feedback aggregation)
• Replace static document-based review processes with interactive, AI-assisted tools
• Measure time saved and iterate based on adoption
• Document what you build so it outlasts your internship

What you'll need

• Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related engineering discipline during the entire duration of the internship
• Comfortable building with APIs and writing scripts or small applications (Python or TypeScript preferred)
• Familiarity with LLMs and prompt engineering — you've built something with an AI API before
• Able to talk to non-technical stakeholders and translate vague pain points into concrete specs
• Bias toward shipping: you'd rather put an imperfect tool in front of users than perfect something in isolation

Nice-to-have

• Experience with workflow automation tools
• Exposure to product management processes or working in a product team
• Familiarity with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Copilot, Teams, SharePoint)
• Experience with Claude code
