Your job

• You are an experienced professional that doesn't just build smart AI solutions, you shape the future of how we work.
• You spot opportunities before others do, experiment iteratively, involve stakeholders from the start, and turn promising ideas into valuable, scalable (Gen)AI products.
• We run several (Gen)AI applications, from data quality optimization models to automated reporting and signalling clients in distress, all used daily by colleagues across the organization.

Working environment

The Finance & Risk Data Domain is part of Finance & Risk Business Grids (F&RBG), and plays an active role for all the Finance and Risk departments. We employ 200+ international professionals with different backgrounds who are driven to bring risk data management to a structurally higher level. Our aim is to generate reliable risk data on time. We do this by improving the risk data itself, data systems and data processes. We work with an Agile operating model. Our Finance and Risk Data Domain consists of 7 departments where the atmosphere is dynamic, open and informal.

You are part of the AI Strategy Team in the Centre of Expertise Advanced Analytics & Artificial Intelligence department. You will report to the Business Lead CoE AA & AI.

Your profile

• You are a curious, pragmatic developer with at least 7+ years of experience in Data Science and/or AI Engineering.
• You have hands-on experience with Python, Spark, SQL, Databricks, Azure, basic ML-models, pipeline structuring and optimization techniques.
• You are able to translate complex business challenges into workable AI models effortlessly and explain complex topics with clarity and impact.
• You have excellent communication skills in English, and are confident collaborating with senior management and stakeholders.
• You have worked in Scrum/DevOps teams and enjoy working within multidisciplinary teams.
• You have a learning mindset with a willingness to continue to grow and a broad interest in a variety of data science topics.
• You are pragmatic, look for the simplest solution first, enjoy giving and receiving feedback, and take ownership of your work and work in a structured way.
