Your impact as an Intern in the field of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at NN

As a university (of applied sciences) student, you will contribute in a meaningful way to this area within our organisation. We will find tasks that align with your internship goals. Although this internship is not research-oriented, we do not rule out conducting a (small) research project. We are looking for an intern for a period of at least 8 months with the possibility to extend up to 12 months.

What you are going to do

  • Contribute to achieving NN DEI Strategy and initiatives
  • Support the DEI initiatives with preparing and executing communication on DEI
  • Assist in writing and developing visual materials such as infographics, presentations, and videos
  • Research and analyse DEI data and summarise insights
  • Leverage MS Suite to work in spreadsheets, prepare presentations, create project plans and other materials
  • Create awareness about DEI through relevant content in our internal channels
  • Support DEI team with adhoc projects and internal processes
  • Support the NN DEI Employee Resource Groups to create impact. NN DEI employee networks include: NN Pride, Women in Leadership, Neurodiversity, NN Young Professionals, NN Cultural Diversity and NN Women in IT

Who you are

  • You are student at a university (of applied science)
  • A good command of the English language is essential
  • You can work both independently and in teams
  • You have good writing skills
  • You have an interest and/or experience in making visual one pagers, building PowerPoints on brand or creating video’s
  • You can absorb information and have a talent for planning
  • You have a proactive attitude and show initiative
  • You are flexible and able to adapt to changing circumstances, and take on diverse tasks and responsibilities
  • You know how to work with MS Suite programmes including PowerPoint, Excel, Word etc
  • You are ready to start the internship for a period of at least 8 months with the possibility to extend up to 12 months

Who you will work with

You will be working within our small Diversity, Equity & Inclusion team, with a DEI Lead and DEI Specialist, while working with and learning from various colleagues. These can be internal colleagues, such as HR colleagues, Corporate Communications, Event Planning, Branding, HR Business Partners and Centre's of Excellence, and external people we collaborate with.
