This role supports Cencora's third-party logistics service in Europe through its Alloga business.

Responsibilities

  • Lead or participate in national and international commercial projects, based on knowledge and experience.
  • Translate commercial customer requests from Alloga clients into concrete supply chain solutions, including cost calculations and profitability assessments.
  • Use specialist system knowledge to improve the logistics processes of warehouses and/or production facilities in order to increase efficiency and profitability.
  • Initiate and lead or support continuous improvement and innovation projects together with colleagues across Alloga.
  • Translate customer needs in commercial processes into suitable solutions that are aligned with both customer requirements and internal organizational capabilities.
  • Initiate and implement improvements for warehouses and/or production facilities in cooperation with other supply chain partners.
  • Design tools, models, and processes for continuous system improvements, including facilitating improvement workshops or sessions.
  • Participate in Alloga-wide projects across Europe and the Netherlands.
  • Carry out tasks in accordance with the procedures and instructions described in the quality management system.
  • Lead or support solution design, improvement, and change projects within Alloga.
  • Support the Manager Business Development, Alloga Operations, Manager Client Relations, and project/program management teams in specific logistics-related issues.
  • Perform analyses based on incidents and formulate proposals for long-term solutions.
  • Identify improvement opportunities and develop tools, models, and processes for ongoing system optimization.
  • Recognize key issues, analyze data, and propose practical and alternative solutions.
  • Ensure proper communication regarding commercial processes, solutions, change programs, improvement initiatives, and projects.
  • Prepare solutions, presentations, dashboards, and/or management reports on progress.
  • Communicate changes in solutions, processes, and documentation clearly and effectively.
  • Perform tasks according to agreed timelines and in line with the instructions set out in the quality management system and other relevant procedures.
  • Complete and continuously maintain the role-specific training plan as part of the quality system.
  • Safeguard the required level of quality, product integrity, and patient safety.
  • Understand that deviations may potentially put patient safety at risk and/or place commercial relationships under pressure.

Requirements

  • Higher professional education level (HBO working and thinking level) or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of the MS Office package, especially strong skills in creating presentations and building data models in Excel; knowledge of Power BI is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems, automation systems, and computer-aided design software.
  • Knowledge and experience in supply chain operations, preferably in the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Knowledge of GDP and/or GMP is preferred.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective internal and external relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to distinguish key issues from details and get to the root cause of problems.
  • Ability to translate customer requirements into concrete and operationally feasible solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify key information, connect data points, and develop alternative solutions with clear understanding of consequences.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with others toward a common goal.
  • High level of quality awareness, including the ability to detect issues, make adjustments within defined standards, and anticipate potential problems.
  • Strong commitment and engagement, with a proactive attitude and willingness to seek better alternatives.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication style to different stakeholders.
