We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and hands-on Tax Manager to join our Finance team in Amsterdam. This is a newly created role and a fantastic opportunity for an experienced tax professional to build and optimize our tax function in alignment with the growth of our international business and our continued path of professionalization.

Are you excited by the opportunity to shape tax strategy and compliance in a global, fast-paced fashion environment? Do you enjoy collaborating with diverse teams across countries while taking full ownership of your domain?

You will be primarily responsible for Corporate Income Tax (CIT) compliance for the Dutch fiscal unity, while coordinating a wide range of tax matters across multiple jurisdictions. Your role will also include supporting VAT governance, Transfer Pricing compliance, and broader tax risk management and advisory responsibilities. You’ll work closely with both internal stakeholders and external partners, including tax authorities and our parent company, G-III Apparel Group, and you will be an integral part of our Finance team with great opportunities to interact with a wide range of cross-functional business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the CIT compliance process for the Dutch fiscal unity, including timely preparation and filing of preliminary and final CIT returns.
  • Coordinate CIT-related matters across other jurisdictions.
  • Act as the central point of coordination for corporate tax matters in close collaboration with local finance teams, GIII Finance / Tax, and external advisors.
  • Ensure robust governance and control over VAT processes and deliverables.
  • Manage relationships with tax authorities and G-III on tax-related matters.
  • Coordinate the preparation and review of transfer pricing calculations and ensure compliance with documentation requirements.
  • Support tax disclosures in the Dutch statutory financial statements.
  • Provide guidance and support on various tax matters, including but not limited to Withholding Tax (WHT), the Work-Related Costs Scheme (WKR), and other indirect tax matters.
  • Monitor developments in tax legislation and evaluate their impact on the organization.

The Profile

  • 6 to 8 years of relevant tax experience, preferably in a multinational setting or Big 4 firm.
  • Good understanding of Dutch tax regulations, with hands-on experience in Dutch Corporate Income Tax, VAT, and Transfer Pricing.
  • Strong understanding of Dutch statutory financial statements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven self-starter with a hands-on mentality.
  • Experience working in an international and dynamic environment.
  • University degree in Tax Law, Fiscal Economics, or Accounting; additional tax qualifications or certifications are an asset.
  • Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.

We Offer

  • A unique opportunity to shape the tax function in a high-growth global fashion brand.
  • A supportive, collaborative, and ambitious Finance team based in Amsterdam.
  • An international and inspiring work environment with long-term career opportunities.
  • The chance to make a tangible impact across cross-border operations and business strategy.
  • The opportunity to participate in key company projects and contribute a tax perspective to business initiatives.
  • Learning and development courses/training.
  • Remote working arrangements.
  • Relocation allowance.
  • Bonus holidays.
  • Working in the heart of Amsterdam.
  • Brand discounts.
  • Exclusive sample sales only for #TEAMKARL.
