Application Consultant Asset Management (Maximo)

Vanderlande is a rapidly changing organization, and technology is high on the strategic agenda. Within Vanderlande IT, technology is a decisive factor in adapting to this changing environment.

In this role, based within IT, you advise, configure, and implement changes in core tools such as ERP systems, surrounding applications, and integrations, following business roadmap programs. You work together with the business, IT specialists, IT architects, and implementation partners.

Your role

As an Application Consultant, you are responsible for the preparation, design, setup, implementation, and support of the Maximo solution. This system is used within the service departments of Vanderlande, and you are at the forefront of integrating service concepts into the service IT landscape. The solution is continuously improved through initiatives ranging from smaller enhancements to very large projects. Maximo is integrated with other IT systems, including ERP, HRM, and PLM systems, through more than 20 integrations.

Your main tasks are:

• Translating business requirements into functional and technical requirements
• Translating requirements into configurations and customizations in Maximo
• Steering implementation partners
• Conducting unit tests of new configurations and customizations
• Guiding acceptance tests and training key users

In the position of Application Consultant, you work closely together with the Product Owner Service Applications, Business Architects, and Subject Matter Experts to deliver solutions that match business needs.

Your team

You will work in the Service Applications DevOps team, working on Vanderlande Service applications such as IBM Maximo, JDEdwards, and the Spare Parts webshop. The team is part of the Application department in ICT, consisting of approximately 100 employees improving and supporting Vanderlande applications.

Your profile

• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in IT
• Strong interest in developing IT solutions within the Asset Management domain
• Architectural mindset with the ability to translate business needs into scalable solutions
• Fast learner with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Capable of leading complex developments and managing multiple stakeholders
• Experience with IT development in Maximo or another Asset Management application is preferred
• Affinity with technical infrastructure and containerization is a plus
• Functional knowledge of Maximo is a nice-to-have
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
