As a Senior IT Platform Analyst – SAP FICO & S/4HANA you will play a key role in shaping and evolving our SAP Finance landscape, helping to drive digital transformation across a complex international organization. You will work closely with business and IT stakeholders to design, deliver, and optimize innovative SAP S/4HANA solutions that support critical financial processes and enable business growth. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine deep functional expertise with strategic thinking, influence technology decisions, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and leverage emerging technologies—including Generative AI—to deliver meaningful business value.

Your role:

  • Support Agile planning and delivery processes, including backlog refinement, estimation, prioritization, and release planning.
  • Drive the successful implementation of new SAP FICO capabilities while ensuring high-quality and maintainable solutions.
  • Own and continuously improve end-to-end solution development processes in collaboration with DevOps teams and business stakeholders.
  • Ensure solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements with a strong focus on performance, security, reliability, compliance, and scalability.
  • Define and oversee testing strategies, including automation, regression testing, validation, and release readiness activities.

  • Identify opportunities to reduce technical debt, improve process efficiency, and enhance platform monitoring and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate across teams to manage dependencies, mitigate risks, and ensure successful end-to-end solution delivery.
  • Contribute to platform innovation by evaluating new technologies, supporting upgrades, and recommending improvements that maximize business value.
  • Foster knowledge sharing and capability building by mentoring colleagues, maintaining solution documentation, and staying current with market and technology trends.

You are the right fit if you have:

  • 10+ years of SAP FICO and SAP S/4HANA Finance experience, including a strong understanding of integrations with other SAP modules.
  • Proven experience delivering at least two end-to-end SAP implementation projects in complex enterprise environments.
  • Deep expertise across core Finance processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, FSCM, Asset Accounting, Product Costing, Profitability Analysis, Taxation, Consolidation, and Financial Reporting.
  • Strong functional expertise in at least one key Finance domain, such as Revenue & Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, or Product Costing.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA innovations such as BRIM, RAR, Extension Ledger, Universal Ledger, and New Asset Accounting is highly desirable.
  • Hands-on experience with Fiori applications, third-party integrations, RICEF objects, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
  • A Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CMA and SAP certifications are a plus.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across global teams and business functions.
  • A proactive, innovative, and solution-oriented mindset, with a passion for continuous improvement and leveraging Generative AI to enhance productivity and business outcomes.
  • You are currently living in The Netherlands.
