We are looking for a technically curious intern to support the Endoscopy Operating Unit field team in the Netherlands. The role combines customer-facing field support, clinical software learning, basic troubleshooting, LAN setup coordination, reporting, and collaboration with hospital IT teams and healthcare professionals.

As an intern you will gain hands-on exposure to field support within a medical technology Endoscopy business. You will develop knowledge of clinical software, medical device setup, and troubleshooting in hospital environments, while also learning how to collaborate with hospital IT teams on connectivity and LAN requirements. In addition, you will build confidence in communicating with healthcare professionals, while gaining experience in clear reporting and documentation within a regulated, quality-focused healthcare environment.

Internship details:

  • Start date: September/ October 2026
  • Duration: 6 months
  • Work model: approximately 70% national travel and 30% home-based or office-based work

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Support the Endoscopy field team with technical activities in hospitals and clinical environments
  • Assist the Endoscopy field team in working with healthcare professionals, including technicians, nurses, and doctors, during system use and implementation
  • Assist with clinical software setup, configuration, and basic troubleshooting
  • Work with hospital IT teams on connectivity, LAN setup, and related technical requirements
  • Document customer interactions, technical issues, actions taken, and follow-up steps accurately
  • Build hands-on experience in customer communication and field support within a regulated healthcare environment

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Biomechanics, Electronics, Mechatronics, Biomedical Engineering, or similar
  • Fluency in English and Dutch
  • Good knowledge of Windows operating systems
  • Driving license and willingness to travel in the Netherlands
  • Basic understanding of LAN configuration and IT collaboration
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and interest in AI/digital innovation

Would be a plus:

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
  • Proactive and enthusiastic mindset, with a willingness to learn quickly and adapt to new situations
  • Interest in procedure-based environments and medical technologies used in endoscopy
