Are you passionate about data and ready to make a real impact on a global scale? Join HEINEKEN’s Global Planning team as a Data Visualization & Analytics intern and build Power BI dashboards that are used across 100+ countries. Working at the intersection of structure and creativity, you will turn vast amounts of supply chain data into clear, actionable insights — powered by our centralized Analytics Enablement Platform.

“What blew me away was realising that the dashboards I built were being used by teams across 100+ countries. Your work genuinely matters here — from day one!”

Another part of the internship is about stock levels. Currently Heineken Operating Companies worldwide all have their own approach to determining safety stock levels and analyzing and reporting on this. The aim is to provide OpCos with a structured approach and clear guardrails to support better planning decisions related to inventory, service levels, and working capital, ultimately translating into tangible business results.

The internship

As an intern within the Global Planning department, you will:

  • Design, build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports, sourcing data from our Analytics Enablement Platform
  • Support the AIMMS application and tools such as Spotlight and HUBble by helping create support models, standards and automated support flows
  • Collaborate closely with the Europe Region, the Data & Analytics (D&A) team and Global Planning stakeholders
  • Create standardized, factual reporting to establish a reliable baseline and platform for discussion on different stock types, both backward and forward looking
  • Enable visibility at the right governance forums (S&OP cycle / QPR) so that inventory-related trade-offs are discussed with the right stakeholders

Your new team and workplace

The Global Planning department sits at the heart of HEINEKEN’s worldwide supply chain, working with data that touches operations in over 100+ countries. All of this data flows through the Analytics Enablement Platform — the single source of truth powering reports and Power BI solutions. The team culture is a mix of structured thinking and creative problem-solving: there are clear processes, while fresh ideas and new approaches are welcomed. You’ll have real ownership of your work from day one, with guidance from experienced colleagues who genuinely invest in your growth.

During your internship, you’ll have the opportunity to get to know HEINEKEN as an organization, not just within your own team, but across departments. HEINEKEN trusts and empowers interns to work with an entrepreneurial mindset and welcomes fresh ideas, while providing guidance that suits you.

The unique you!

HEINEKEN is looking for someone who can balance analytical precision with creative thinking — someone who gets excited by the idea that their work will have a real impact across a global organisation. You don’t need to have all the answers; bring your curiosity, ambition and drive to learn.

In addition, you bring:

  • You’re currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program, preferably in Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Management or a related field
  • You have a passion for data science and data visualization, and you are analytical and eager to learn
  • Experience with Power BI is a plus; having built something of your own is highly valued
  • You are comfortable with trial and error and see failing as part of the success process

Conditions of HEINEKEN

  1. You are enrolled at an educational institution for the entire duration of your internship and can provide proof of enrollment for the current academic year during onboarding
  2. In the case of non-EU nationality, you must be registered as an intern with a Dutch educational institution
  3. In case of EU nationality, you may also be registered as an intern at educational institutions outside the EU
