The Cefetra Group consists of various agricultural and food ingredients trading and supply chain management companies, with leading brands within the ingredients business. We develop supply chains with suppliers and create value by sourcing raw materials and supplying those to the international food and feed industry.

The job

As Quality, Health & Safety Manager, you will play a key role in strengthening quality, food & feed safety and health & safety standards across the Cefetra Group. Working closely with Audrey Rensen, Director Sustainability, Quality and EHS, you will help shape, implement and continuously improve policies, systems and ways of working that have a direct impact on our international supply chains and the customers we serve.

This is a broad and visible role in which you combine technical expertise with practical business impact. You will act as a sparring partner for quality representatives and managers across the group, support entities in improving their quality systems, and translate developments in legislation, certification schemes and customer requirements into clear, workable actions. You will also drive better sharing of quality information through meetings, sector updates and the further use of IT systems. In addition, you will support complaint handling, non-conformity follow-up and incident management, while conducting quality, health and safety audits at various locations, mainly across Europe.

Who are you?

Most important is that you can be critical and precise, but also pragmatic when needed. To be successful within Cefetra, it is important to have a ‘self-starter’ mentality, be open minded and curious. You can work both independently and with people from all layers within the entire Cefetra Group. In addition, you can identify with the following requirements:

• Your educational background is equivalent to a master’s degree in quality or food safety, and you have knowledge of HACCP and quality management systems such as GMP+ and IFS;
• You are passionate about working in Quality within the international Supply chain;
• You are familiar with health and safety procedures and systems or are quickly able to make these your own;
• You are able to work with MS office programmes like Power BI, Teams, Excel and SharePoint;
• You are good at both Dutch and English, both verbal and written. On a daily basis you'll need both languages.
• You have experience with conducting internal audits. A relevant ISO lead auditor qualification is a nice to have.
