About the Role:
At Redcare Pharmacy, this role defines and drives the European Facility Management strategy, ensuring operational excellence, business continuity, and sustainable growth across all locations.
As Head of Facility Management Europe, you will oversee a broad and diverse portfolio, including:
- 3 major logistics distribution centers
- 3 regional warehouses
- The headquarters
- Around 8 additional office locations across Europe
In addition, you will provide strategic leadership to the Technical Engineering organization, led operationally by the Head of Technical Engineering, who reports directly to you. While this function is responsible for conveyor and automation maintenance, your focus will be on leadership, governance, prioritization, and organizational development - not on technical execution.
This is a senior leadership role with a strong emphasis on strategy, people leadership, governance, and continuous improvement.
About your Tasks:
- Develop and implement a future-oriented European Facility Management strategy that supports business growth, operational resilience, and sustainability
- Lead and further develop our international Facility Management organization, empowering local teams while creating clear governance structures and accountability
- Ensure efficient and compliant operations across our logistics sites, warehouses, headquarters, and office locations
- Provide strategic guidance and leadership to the Technical Engineering function, ensuring alignment with business priorities
- Manage and optimize a multi-million-euro budget (CAPEX & OPEX), driving financial transparency, vendor performance, and long-term investment planning
- Establish meaningful KPIs, reporting standards, and governance frameworks to continuously improve performance across all locations
- Act as a trusted business partner for senior stakeholders across Operations, Logistics, HR, Finance, and Executive Management
About You:
- At least 10 years of experience in international Facility Management, ideally within logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, or industrial environments
- Proven experience in a strategic leadership position with responsibility for multiple international locations
- Strong track record in leading large teams and developing high-performing organizations
- Experience managing multi-million-euro budgets and complex supplier landscapes
- A structured and strategic mindset with the ability to build scalable processes and governance
- Willingness to travel regularly across our European sites
- Fluent English is essential; German or Dutch is considered a strong advantage
