IWW Sales / Account Manager at Lloyd’s Register

Lloyd’s Register is a global professional services organisation that provides classification, compliance, and advisory services to the maritime industry. In the European Inland Waterways (IWW) sector, LR holds a leading position supporting tanker, cruise, and dry cargo fleets. LR is seeking an experienced and commercially focused IWW Sales / Account Manager to expand and grow our Inland Waterways business, based in Rotterdam. This role is critical to sustaining market leadership, expanding market share, and developing advisory opportunities. The IWW business has grown significantly and is a strategically important and profitable segment for LR, and this role provides valuable career development potential and exposure to key industry stakeholders.

The role

  • Deliver sales, revenue, margin and cash targets.
  • Protect market share in new construction.
  • Grow business with existing fleets, including Transfer of Class (ToC) opportunities.
  • Act as primary point of contact for customers.
  • Develop strategic account plans.
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management.

What you bring

  • Demonstrated sales or account management experience in maritime or related sectors.
  • Solid commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build trusted client relationships.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to connect with others.
  • Fluent Dutch required.
  • Based in, or willing to relocate to, Rotterdam.
