As Senior Capability Deployment Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the future of sales capability across HEINEKEN's global commercial organization. You will define and bring to life our global Sales Capability Strategy, ensuring world-class sales capabilities are consistently deployed across all market archetypes to drive commercial excellence and accelerate sustainable growth.

Working closely with colleagues across Global Sales, Route to Consumer (RTC), Trade Marketing, Regional teams, HR Learning & Development, and the Global Capability Unit (GCU), you will translate strategy into practical learning experiences, tools and frameworks that empower our sales teams to perform at their best. You will also lead the strategy for identifying, capturing and scaling best practices across markets, creating opportunities for teams to learn from one another and continuously improve.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and operationalize the global Sales Capability Strategy, translating strategic priorities into actionable deployment plans across regions and Operating Companies (OpCos).
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to simplify and refine capability content, ensuring it is practical, engaging and relevant for sales professionals.
  • Lead the rollout of global competency frameworks, learning programmes, tools and resources that strengthen both core and future-fit sales capabilities.
  • Set the strategy for identifying, cataloguing and scaling commercial best practices and repeatable solutions across markets and regions.
  • Build strong relationships with global, regional and local sales stakeholders to drive engagement, adoption and successful implementation of capability initiatives.
  • Partner with HR Learning & Development to integrate sales capabilities into formal learning journeys, ensuring long-term relevance and business impact.
  • Champion a culture of continuous learning by leading Communities of Practice and Learn–Share–Reapply initiatives that encourage collaboration, knowledge sharing and innovation.

Experience & Profile (what & how)

What

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree.
  • 12+ years of experience in Sales or Commercial roles, including Route to Consumer (RTC) and Trade Marketing.
  • At least 5 years of experience in capability development or Learning & Development within a multinational organisation (preferably FMCG) or a consultancy, in a strategic role.
  • Experience in sales enablement, training design and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong facilitation, content simplification and project management skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and digital learning platforms.
  • Fluent in English.

How

You are passionate about developing people and enabling commercial success through capability building. You combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach and know how to translate complex concepts into simple, practical solutions that create value for sales teams around the world.

You are an excellent collaborator who builds trusted relationships across functions, cultures and levels of the organisation. You influence without formal authority, navigate change with confidence and bring people along through clear communication and empathy.

Above all, you role model HEINEKEN's leadership expectations by shaping the future, connecting people, developing talent and consistently delivering results.

What’s in it for you – let’s uncork:

  • An excellent pension scheme
  • HEINEKEN is an international company with all the related perks: (inter)national career opportunities, ability to go places and diverse projects.
  • We focus on developing HEINEKEN and ourselves: knowledge sharing is key and there is dedicated time for professional development through workshops, community sessions, Microsoft/Databricks courses/certifications and learning days.
  • HEINEKEN embraces a hybrid working environment moving forward, with flexibility to define how often you are in the office.
  • Covered commuting expenses.
  • Awesome social events! :)
