Our Cardiac Surgery business offers a comprehensive portfolio of advanced devices and implants that help healthcare professionals treat complex cardiovascular conditions, including heart valve disease, atrial fibrillation, and coronary artery disease. As an Account Manager Cardiac Surgery, you will become part of a passionate, experienced, and highly collaborative Benelux team. Reporting to the Benelux Sales Manager, you will represent a market-leading portfolio of surgical solutions and partner closely with cardiac surgeons and operating room teams across The Netherlands.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Drive sales growth and market share across the assigned territory in The Netherlands
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with cardiac surgeons, cardiologists, procurement teams, and other healthcare professionals
  • Promote and support Medtronic’s portfolio of cardiac surgery solutions, including products addressing heart valve disease, atrial fibrillation, and coronary artery disease
  • Provide clinical and technical support during procedures and product evaluations
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategic account plans
  • Deliver product presentations, educational programs, and training sessions for healthcare professionals
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, clinical specialists, and cross-functional teams to ensure customer success
  • Maintain a deep understanding of market dynamics, competitive activities, and customer needs
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Healthcare, Business, or a related field
  • Min 5 years of success in medical device sales, preferably within cardiovascular, surgical, or hospital-based specialties
  • Strong commercial acumen combined with the ability to engage confidently in clinical discussions
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently
  • Fluency in both Dutch and English
