Build with us

Since 2004, Mollie has had one clear goal: to make payments and money management effortless for every business in Europe.

Your impact

As Senior Product Manager - Cards, you will lead one of Mollie’s most strategically important products. Cards is the primary payment method operating at global scale and a central enabler for serving larger, more sophisticated merchants. You will own one of the highest net revenue-generating areas in the business, directly shaping Mollie’s ability to compete for and retain enterprise and mid-market merchants.

This role has genuine end-to-end scope. You will move between deep technical infrastructure and commercial strategy, working across a cross-functional team of around 20 people that includes product delivery managers, a product partnership person, a dedicated data person, and a PMM. You will also work directly with payment schemes and external partners, making decisions that influence both the product roadmap and Mollie’s broader positioning in the market.

The cards domain is expected to become an increasingly important driver of Mollie’s growth over time, with the potential for the online and in-person card acceptance platforms to converge and expand the scope of the role significantly.

What you'll ship

  • Own the full cards acceptance product from technical infrastructure through to commercial enablement, ensuring it meets the bar required to win and retain sophisticated merchants
  • Deliver advanced card capabilities, including network tokens, click to pay, new payment interfaces, and vertical-specific features that differentiate Mollie’s offering
  • Lead go-to-market strategy for card features in close collaboration with PMM and commercial teams, translating technical complexity into clear positioning that sales teams can use
  • Scale the cards product geographically, including capabilities beyond Europe, to support Mollie’s evolving merchant base
  • Identify merchant category opportunities and drive decisions that maximise net revenue across the cards portfolio
  • Manage and develop the product delivery managers in the team, with one already in place and a second to be hired, building a high-performing delivery function within the domain

What you'll bring

  • Solid grounding in payments or fintech, with a working understanding of core concepts such as card acquiring, MCC codes, principal membership, and scheme relationships
  • A track record of owning a product end-to-end, not just gathering requirements but driving outcomes across technical development and commercial strategy
  • Experience working with and managing commercial partners and payment schemes, with the ability to navigate complexity and build productive external relationships
  • Go-to-market experience that includes working with PMM and commercial or sales teams to position and enable a product for the market
  • Comfort operating at a technical level while also driving commercial results, and the ability to move fluidly between both
  • Experience leading or working across large, cross-functional teams in high-intensity environments where the stakes are real
