As an (Associate) Scientist Immunoassays, you will work within the Large Molecule Analytical Sciences (LMAS) group. You will be part of a service-focused team that supports analytical work for large molecules in a pharmaceutical setting.

In this role, you will mainly work with enzyme immunoassays. You will perform analyses, help improve existing methods and support troubleshooting when results, methods or equipment do not perform as expected. You may also support analytical work outside immunoassays when needed by the team.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Performing enzyme immunoassays (EIA).
  • Contributing to EIA-related improvement and troubleshooting projects, and taking ownership of assigned activities.
  • Supporting projects and individual analyses using other analytical techniques when needed.
  • Documenting activities and results accurately in laboratory notebooks.
  • Participating in team meetings and reporting on your work.
  • Maintaining laboratory equipment, including quality checks, calibrations and coordination of maintenance.
  • Writing protocols, reports or other documentation when required.
  • Taking on additional analytical or documentation-related activities when needed by the team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in life sciences, biochemistry or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience with immunoassays.
  • At least 1 year of experience with method development, method validation and/or method transfer.
  • Able to communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Fluent English communication skills are required. Dutch is nice to have.
  • GMP experience is a plus.
