Front End Software Engineer (AR, Spatial & AI-powered Experiences)

Binnen Ingka Digital is IKEA Kreativ een belangrijk onderdeel van het Home Imagination Platform (HIP), waar 3D, AI en schaalbare backendsystemen samenkomen om de “imagination gap” voor klanten en co-workers wereldwijd te verkleinen. We creëren digitale ervaringen die miljoenen mensen helpen hun huis met vertrouwen te bedenken, in te richten en vorm te geven.

Voor deze functie zoeken we een Front End Engineer voor een klein, geografisch verspreid frontendteam van 3 engineers, een web lead/web leader en een productmanager. Je werkt nauw samen met een dedicated Backend Engineer en een volledig bemand graphics team.

Wie je bent

The person in this role will:

• Design, build, test, deploy, and monitor web features for a new way to shop for home.
• Design a seamless customer journey integration for IKEA Kreativ on IKEA.com.
• Work collaboratively to prototype, iterate and deliver delightful user experiences: partner with product design, participate in usability sessions, and use your knowledge of frontend engineering to deliver best-in-class mixed reality shopping experiences.
• Improve performance, usability, and reliability of the Kreativ web application to improve customer satisfaction and conversion by delivering a high quality product, quickly fixing customer-facing issues, and promoting test-driven and data-driven development.
• Effectively partner and collaborate with our global tech staff including our California teams (9 hours behind Ingka HQ).

Gewenste ervaring

• 4+ years’ experience building production software on substantial products/codebases.
• Proficient in modern Javascript/Typescript for frontend development.
• Expertise in delivering polished UI with modern frameworks like React/Vue/etc.
• Great teammate who can reliably collaborate with Product, Design, and QA teams to design, scope, and deliver novel experiences that customers love.
• Experience writing automated tests (unit/end-to-end).
• University foundations in Computer Science and software engineering preferred.
• Demonstrated appreciation of visual style and aesthetics, possibly with portfolio.
• BONUS: 3D graphics experience.
