Then join us as our new Waters and Dantrade Controlling intern as of August/September 2026 in a hybrid form in The Netherlands.

About the job

As our new Waters and Dantrade Controlling Intern you will be part of our Pack & Plastic Team in our office in Hoofddorp. You will support the team in their monthly processes of Water Plastic figures.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Updating the Waters Plastic Scorecard (PSC) file by using system data
  • Updating and coordinating data flow from the CBUs and global buyers
  • Taking monthly data from the global reporting tool – Magnitude
  • Coordinating actual rebates invoicing process
  • Taking part in monthly and quarterly reporting process
  • Updating related files with latest figures and managing expenses by budgeting
  • Preparing financial reports by collecting data and analyzing information, and joining meetings with global directors to assess outcomes
  • Taking part in a global position and global teams

Additionally, you will be the main point of contact for the CBU’s and work with global buyers, controllers and local buyers.

About you

You are a Bachelor/Master student in Finance, industrial engineering, or in a relevant discipline with an analytical and pro-active mindset. You have strong communication and interpersonal skills and enjoy talking with different people working from abroad, which also means you have some time flexibility to align with them given time differences. You have experience in another internship position preferably in controlling or finance departments. You thrive in a team setting but are also willing and able to work autonomously when necessary. You have good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel (it is a must).

Compulsory requirements:

  • Enrolled as a Bachelor's or Master's student for the entire duration of the internship.
  • Resident of the Netherlands with a valid BSN number. Non-EU citizens must have a valid Dutch residency permit.
  • For non-EU citizens, your university must sign a three-party agreement with Danone.
  • Available to start in August/September 2026 for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Able to work from our Hoofddorp office at least 3 days per week.
