In this role of Business Process Expert, you will ensure robust and compliant Finance access management capabilities by owning the end-to-end process design, readiness, and adoption.

Your role

1. Process & Capability Ownership

  • Own and evolve complex Finance access management capabilities for Business, Region & Zones and Functions organizations, ensuring alignment with compliance requirements.
  • Define and maintain the access management roadmap, focusing on proper access for Finance job positions in all finance domains.
  • Establish minimum access management process standards, future access management governance, and procedures.

2. E2E Design & SAP Alignment

  • Drive and co-create fit-for-purpose access management processes and embed access management into the Philips Process Framework.
  • Ensure proper build-up of single and composite SAP Authorization roles.
  • Ensure strong alignment between SAP FICO functionality (ECC and/or S/4HANA), SAP Finance processes, job families and roles, and KPIs and compliance control dashboards.
  • Actively contribute to SAP implementations, enhancements, and upgrades with respect to access management for all Finance functions.

3. Deployment, Change & Adoption

  • Ensure access management process readiness for deployment, including change management, stakeholder management, and end-user training for key users and Local User Administrators.

4. Performance Management & Governance

  • Establish and maintain access management capability performance and adoption reporting, linked to agreed targets.
  • Develop dashboards to track access management process health, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Drive controlled changes via the Authorization Change Control Board, ensuring consistency across SAP kernels, documentation, training materials, and work instructions.

5. Continuous Improvement & Ways of Working

  • Apply Lean, Six Sigma, Agile and similar methodologies to improve access management efficiency, quality, and user experience.
  • Act as a connector across functions, facilitating collaboration and alignment.
  • Contribute to capability maturity and long-term scalability of the access management process.

6. Team leadership

  • Lead a team of 4 FTEs. Three FTEs form the GRC helpdesk supporting the Finance function on access management matters, and 1 FTE is a Business Process Expert supporting this role.
  • Support and guide the team in balancing workload and dividing work among the GRC Helpdesk team members. Manage the 1 FTE Business Process Expert in line with role and responsibilities.
  • Drive the development of the team and ensure that each team member has an individual development plan in place. Guide and support training needs.
  • Create a succession plan for the team.

What success looks like (4–12 months)

  • Clear, adopted access management processes with no SOD conflicts on A level and limited conflicts on B level.
  • Transparent access management capability dashboards used by leadership to monitor process risks.

You are the right fit if you have:

  • Higher education.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Finance, access management, or related domains, combined with process improvement, project, and change management experience.
  • Proven hands-on SAP FICO access management experience (ECC and/or S/4HANA) preferred.
  • Access management experience in applications other than SAP is a plus.
  • Experience with operational access management SOx controls.
