About the role
As Senior Product Manager One Up, you will represent the consumer throughout the entire end-to-end development project, including value proposition development, specification setting, product development, and LCM. You will ensure that the targeted consumer group is satisfied when using the product. After NPI, you will drive corrective actions to meet project targets related to consumer satisfaction. You will also contribute to reducing product portfolio complexity to meet value creation plan targets. Reporting to the Product Director on a day-to-day basis, this role ensures that innovation projects align with strategic objectives and effectively manages cross-functional collaboration.
In addition, this role will increasingly focus on leading groundbreaking and technologically advanced innovation projects, and taking ownership of large, complex development programs to drive growth in Home Care.
The impact you’ll make
Key Responsibilities
- Develop the Product (sub-)Category Strategy and turn it into product project specifications. Act as the product specialist for the portfolio by benchmarking competitors at the same price points and analysing gaps to optimize product competitiveness.
- Create Product Value Proposition and consolidate it into a consumer-centric, differentiating, and compelling Value Proposition.
- Create the Business Case to evaluate Sales impacts, ROI and IGM%, optimizing the product range mix, including number of SKUs.
- Team up with the Project Leader, who is responsible for the end-to-end project until launch plus 6 to 8 months, to represent the consumer throughout project development. Together with the UX team, design all testing to validate consumer satisfaction and acceptance.
- Post launch, loop market and consumer feedback (RR, Consumer Care, VoC) with Quality post Market Surveillance and Marketing team to actively develop and drive the necessary action plan that will lead to overall consumer satisfaction.
- During LCM, interact with the LCM team to create range improvement, extension and/or animation, with the supply team to plan product end of life, and with the DFX Project Leads to increase IGM%.
- Lead and manage more complex, high-ambition innovation projects that require deeper technological capability, cross-functional orchestration, and longer-term strategic impact. This includes elevating the innovation level of the Kitchen Core category by driving breakthrough concepts and next-generation product platforms.
- Brief Marketing and Design teams on required assets and communication materials to ensure consistent, consumer-centric representation in all touchpoints.

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring
- 7+ years in product management
- Proven experience managing projects, budgets, timelines, and risks
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business or related field, possibly engineering
- Strong problem solving and prioritization skills
- Strong communicator, capable of working and influencing with cross-functional teams
- Experience or strong affinity with technology-intensive or complex innovation programs is a plus, reflecting the increased ambition level of future projects.
