Internship opportunity: People Analytics (all genders)

What we ask

  • Students in a master’s programme in the field of Artificial Intelligence, Data Engineering, Data Science or a related field
  • GPA 7 and plus
  • Able to think logically to turn a business question into a data question and able to build a data analysis to find answers
  • Able to program in R or Python and have some experience in working with data and turn the results into applications
  • Have experience in building connections to data, user interface and simple chatbot
  • Some knowledge of machine learning, natural language processing and Gen AI
  • A team player, innovative, eager to learn and can communicate clearly
  • Available for at least 32 hours per week for the internship

You will work with FrieslandCampina’s people data to discover insights in order to support people decisions. Potential topics may include, but are not limited to:

  • Can we use (Gen) AI to make the operations of HR Service more efficient?
  • Can we productionise the analysis we did for HR so they have the insights they need when making decisions?
  • How do we best improve the quality of our data?

You will work with your supervisor at FrieslandCampina to discuss potential topics to study or build and select the ones that add the best value to the company and are also most interesting to you. It is expected that you will be involved in multiple topics. You can also offer your ideas. You will then process the data, do the analysis or build the solution, and present results. You are required to adhere strictly to FrieslandCampina’s data privacy requirements while working with the data. Besides these studies, you will have the opportunity to contribute to other projects within the team if there is mutual interest, for example contributing to AI initiatives or data quality improvement.

About the team

You are part of the Global People Analytics Team. The team is responsible for creating high-quality people insights for the Global HR department and Management. The team is making big steps towards standardized global dashboards, advanced analytics and wider accessibility of people insights through AI. You are going to work in a dynamic and cooperative team that consists of other People Analytics specialists who work in an agile DevOps environment. Within this team we are looking for pro-active, energetic and analytical interns.

The Global People Analytics Team is part of the central innovation team - Digital HR & Projects. This team consists of 24 eager and talented professionals in the areas of Digital HR, People Analytics and Projects.
