Kom jij ons versterken?

Together with the Manager Business Management, the Associate Partnership Manager, and the Secretary, you act as the central linking pin in the strategic partnership between PFZW and PGGM Investment Management (PGGM IM).

In this strategic role, you operate at the intersection of strategy, execution, and governance, with direct contact with the PFZW Executive Office, the PFZW Investment Committee, and the Board of PGGM IM. You are responsible for organizing both the annual product delivery cycle—in which investment products are prepared and delivered for approval by PFZW—and the partnership management cycle, ensuring that the outsourcing relationship with PGGM IM is properly managed, monitored, and continuously improved.

You coordinate the preparation and follow-up of the Investment Committee (Commissie Beleggingen) and play a key role in the operational execution of the product delivery process. You act as the central “funnel” where information, deliverables, and decision-making come together. You maintain oversight of timelines, dependencies, and quality, ensuring alignment and smooth, timely delivery. In doing so, you are essential to effective and well-prepared decision-making.

This role relies heavily on intensive stakeholder interaction and communication. You engage with a wide range of stakeholders across PGGM and PFZW, easily navigating different perspectives, levels, and interests. You build strong relationships, ensure clarity, and actively follow up on agreements and actions. Your ability to connect people and facilitate dialogue is key to the success of the partnership.

You stay well informed about developments within Investment Management and ensure that PFZW’s priorities are clearly understood and proactively followed up within PGGM.

Within the triangle of Business, Finance & Control, and Partnership Management, you manage the PFZW–PGGM contract. You anticipate future contractual developments while safeguarding existing agreements and conditions, and you help resolve bottlenecks through effective dialogue between both organizations.

Within the team, you take on a coordinating role towards the Associate Partnership Manager and the Secretary, structuring work, aligning priorities, and monitoring progress to ensure strong and consistent team delivery.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the strategic partnership with PFZW by facilitating strategic dialogue and evaluations between the PGGM IM Board and PFZW, co-managing the PFZW–PGGM IM contract and SLA framework, and coordinating the creation and maintenance of joint deliverables (such as the strategic roadmap).
  • Organise the preparation and follow-up of Investment Committee meetings and coordinate the product delivery cycle end-to-end, acting as the central funnel for information and ensuring alignment, quality, and timely decision-making for PFZW approvals.
  • Act as the primary coordinator for incoming requests and communication flows between PFZW and PGGM, directing items to the appropriate stakeholders and monitoring progress to completion.
  • Coordinate the accountability and reporting process by gathering and validating input and supporting reporting on both investment and business management topics.

Jouw afdeling binnen PGGM

Business Management is a newly established department within PGGM Investments, bringing together key cross-functional roles that support the investment management value chain in driving strategic change.

As Senior Partnership Manager, you report to the Head of Business Management. The team consists of three areas of expertise:

  • Partnership Management – Responsible for the strategic partnership with PFZW, shaping governance agreements, and coordinating the product delivery cycle.
  • Management & Evaluation Consultants and Corporate Secretariat – Provide strategic support to the IM Board, evaluate PGGM IM’s products and services, prepare decision-making, and translate strategy into implementation and advice.
  • Executive Assistants – Serve as the organizational hub for PGGM IM management, focusing on planning, support, and connectivity within and beyond the management team.

By integrating these functions, Business Management plays a central role in connecting strategy, execution, and governance, advancing PGGM Investment Management’s ambitions in close collaboration with PFZW.
