HIVE is Unilever’s Foods Innovation Centre and home to the product innovations of food brands like Knorr and Hellmann's.

This internship offers the opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute within the Research and Development Department in the Hive. You will develop skills in food biotechnology, project management, and collaboration within a diverse, multidisciplinary environment, while gaining hands-on laboratory experience, enhancing your research and analytical skills, and contributing to innovation and sustainability projects.

You’re the perfect fit if:

• You’re available for 5 to 6 months starting August-September 2026 (minimum 32 hours/week).
• You are enrolled (3rd or 4th year) in a Bachelor or Master program in Food Science/Technology, Food Physics, or Material Science.
• You are curious, a fast-learner, and can work independently in a lab.
• You are skilled in literature research, experimental design, lab skills, data analysis, and scientific writing.
• You are eager to learn and apply new knowledge with expert consultation.
• You have good communication skills and can collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• You are fluent in English (spoken and written).
• You can plan and execute experiments independently and think critically.
