What You'll Do

  • Design and build AI assistants and agents that improve backlog refinement, code generation, code review, testing, and software delivery workflows.
  • Turn GenAI prototypes into robust, reusable capabilities that can scale across teams and organizations.
  • Define and implement ways to measure the value delivered by AI-enabled engineering capabilities.
  • Coach engineers on the effective use of GenAI and coding agents in day-to-day software development.
  • Make architectural trade-offs between speed, scalability, governance, reliability, and cost.
  • Improve developer experience by embedding agentic capabilities directly into engineering workflows and tooling.
  • Design and implement scalable GenAI systems and agent architectures.
  • Build production-ready GenAI services with an eye toward portability and long-term adoption.
  • Lead solution design across APIs, event-driven systems, and AI workflows.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to translate opportunities into scalable technical capabilities.

What You Bring

Technical Excellence

  • 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering, DevOps Engineering, ML Engineering, or Data Science.
  • Proven end-to-end software engineering experience across the full lifecycle, from discovery and architecture through implementation, deployment, and production operations.
  • Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms and Infrastructure as Code technologies such as Terraform or Bicep.
  • Strong coding skills and the mindset of a polyglot engineer who chooses the right technology for the problem at hand.
  • Experience building and using coding agents or agentic development tools in practice, whether professionally or through meaningful side projects.
  • Ability to design and build products from scratch, turning ambiguous challenges into working solutions that deliver measurable value.
  • Experience bringing software into production in a secure, reliable, and responsible way.
  • Strong understanding of testing, deployment, runtime operations, observability, security, and production readiness.

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for experimentation, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Strong ownership mentality and perseverance when solving complex challenges.
  • Ability to mentor, coach, and inspire other engineers.
  • Experience working in Agile environments such as Scrum or Kanban.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Side projects, prototypes, hobby builds, or open-source contributions that showcase your maker mindset.
  • Experience with GenAI workflows, prompt engineering, orchestration, and AI-powered development tooling.
  • Experience working in large-scale engineering environments.
