We're looking for a Technical Representative to join our Engineering & Maintenance team, ensuring our outsourced maintenance activities meet the highest standards across our global airline operations.

About our offer

  • Personal benefits: Attractive remuneration, discretionary bonus schemes, generous travel benefits, extensive health & well-being support, and more.
  • Flexible working: Work is something you do, not somewhere you go. We encourage a healthy work-life balance with a dynamic working environment.
  • A career to shape: Access the TUI Learning Hub to level-up and reach your ambitions.
  • Broaden your network: We champion intercultural collaboration and provide opportunities to work on global projects and teams.
  • Community: Get involved with incredible local charity and sustainability initiatives like the TUI Care Foundation.

About the job

  • You'll be our eyes and ears at third-party facilities, liaising with selected MROs on all aspects of contracted outsourced maintenance across any TUI Group airline.
  • As the single point of contact, you'll review and authorize additional work from both technical and commercial perspectives, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
  • Quality is your priority – you'll make sure all outsourced maintenance activities meet the requisite standards and that paperwork is fully compliant.
  • You'll keep everything on track by ensuring work is conducted in line with contractual terms, supplier SLAs, and NAA regulations.
  • Reporting to relevant parties within E&M, you'll flag any issues or concerns, escalating matters when needed and coordinating activity between MRO and TUI Group.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders, you'll provide expertise on outsourced maintenance matters whilst operating collaboratively and professionally in line with our Company values.

About you

  • You bring a well-rounded E&M technical background with experience in heavy maintenance, along with the ability to interpret commercial contract terms.
  • Your solid understanding of compliance requirements for outsourced maintenance activities means nothing slips through the cracks.
  • You're a self-motivated individual who takes initiative and works collaboratively, with a track record of engaging with and delivering to multiple diverse stakeholders.
  • Confident in influencing and negotiating with suppliers, you're happy to operate with relative autonomy and travel to third-party facilities across the globe.
  • Your strong organizational skills and sound IT abilities allow you to deftly utilize standard packages, whilst your financial acumen helps you understand and manage cost implications.
  • You're a skilled communicator who quickly builds rapport, ensuring our requirements are fully understood and delivered to, adapting your style according to audience and situation.
