Internship opportunity within our Global Supplier Management (GSM) department

We are looking for a motivated fourth year Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or Procurement student.

Welcome to our team

As a Supplier Management & Procurement Intern, you will support the Global Supplier Management (GSM) team in improving supplier performance, ordering and planning processes, and supplier master and commercial data quality. You will work closely with procurement colleagues and cross-functional stakeholders to analyze current processes, identify improvement opportunities, and help implement practical solutions that strengthen supply reliability, compliance, and value delivery.

Your internship assignment

You will own at least one structured improvement project, such as:

  • Supplier performance improvement initiatives (i-OTIF, lead times, issue tracking)
  • Spend management and planning process improvements
  • Supplier and pricing data quality improvements (SAP / Ariba context)
  • Support for material changes, new introductions, and supplier onboarding

Deliverables

  • Process analysis and improvement recommendations
  • Supplier performance snapshot and action tracker
  • Final presentation of results and learnings

Your responsibilities

  • Track supplier KPIs and performance trends
  • Support supplier issue management and documentation
  • Assist with stakeholder communication and sourcing analysis
  • Support purchase order tracking and supplier master data maintenance
  • Build and manage simple dashboards and performance trackers (Excel / Power BI)

The tasks described form the basic package and will often be performed independently after a proper training and learning period. These tasks may be supplemented with other projects and/or tasks on your own initiative or at the request of the organization.

What is required

  • Bachelor or Master student (Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Procurement, or related)
  • Interest in supplier performance or continuous improvement
  • Exposure to SAP / Ariba is a plus
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Proactive and structured working style
  • Excellent English (written and verbal)
  • Available for a period of 6 months, 40 hours per week, starting in September 2026
