Job description

At Aquablu, you'll join a company disrupting the marketplace with a revolutionary flavored water system. Since launching Aquablu REFILL in 2023, the company has grown rapidly, expanded to 16 countries, and been named the Fastest Growing Tech Company in Health & Wellness in the Netherlands.

"That might sound really ambitious, but our team is part of an inspiring movement in an industry that's thirsty for change."

Marc, Co-founder of Aquablu

As Logistics Coordinator, you'll be the engine behind the physical product flow and one of the people making that flow smarter every week. You'll work closely with logistics partners and internal teams to make sure machines, spare parts, and consumables get where they need to go, on time and in full. The role combines hands-on execution with process improvement, including spotting inefficiencies, thinking ahead, and using AI tools to improve work and automate repetitive tasks.

From resolving delivery issues and chasing shipments to reviewing order reports and proposing improvements, you'll be the go-to person who keeps things running and keeps making them better. It's a role with plenty of variety and ownership, with logistical puzzles to solve such as failed deliveries, lead times, and proactive reporting.

If you thrive on solving practical problems, working with different stakeholders, and aren't satisfied until the process itself is better, this role is for you.

About the role

What you'll do

Keep the flow moving (≈60%)

  • Coordinate outbound logistics with 3PL partners, tracking and chasing shipments, resolving exceptions, and keeping stakeholders informed
  • Monitor orders and review order reports to confirm everything is being delivered according to plan — and jump on anything that isn't
  • Follow up on delivery issues and manage the return/repair process together with the Supply Chain team
  • Create shipments and, occasionally, pack and ship orders directly from HQ
  • Work closely with Supply Chain on inbound logistics and accurate stock management

Make it better (≈40%)

  • Spot opportunities to improve ways of working, then think ahead and design the fix
  • Use existing AI tools to build and improve dashboards, automate repetitive tasks, and turn order data into early-warning signals; you don't need to be a developer, but you do need to know what to build and how to direct the tools to build it
  • Monitor 3PL performance by gathering data, escalating issues when needed, and proposing improvements
  • Own and drive small-to-medium operational improvement projects from idea to rollout

About you

You thrive in a central role, bringing structure to a fast-paced environment while keeping both colleagues and customers happy. You communicate clearly, stay organized under pressure, and you're the kind of person who can't walk past a broken process without wanting to fix it.

Must-haves

  • HBO-level thinking and working experience
  • 1-3 years of experience and affinity with logistics and/or operations, or a strong eagerness to learn
  • Genuinely detail-oriented, meticulous and thorough
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, comfortable juggling many moving parts and jumping in where needed
  • A proactive, think-ahead mindset — you spot improvements and come up with ideas rather than waiting for instructions
  • Comfortable using digital tools such as ERP systems and shipment tracking portals, and genuinely curious about using AI tools to work smarter
  • Clear and confident communicator, both written and verbal, with colleagues and external partners
  • Fluent in English
  • Based in the Netherlands, able to work 4–5 days a week from HQ
  • Able to work without visa sponsorship from the company in the Netherlands

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience coordinating with third-party logistics (3PL) providers
  • Hands-on experience building dashboards, automations, or using AI tools to streamline work
  • Background in a fast-paced scale-up or startup environment

Why join us?

You'll be right at the center of everything, with clear responsibilities and the freedom to own them. You'll work closely with Service Engineers, logistics partners, and the Client Support team in an informal, direct, and collaborative environment. No two days are the same.
