International Key Account Manager - Trucks and Vans

As an International Key Account Manager for trucks and vans, you will be responsible for developing and managing strategic relationships with key international fleet customers and logistics providers. You will play a crucial role in growing BYD’s presence in the commercial vehicle market, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving sales performance across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute account strategies for major fleet operators and key customers in the truck and van segment.
• Identify and acquire new international accounts, fostering long-term partnerships.
• Serve as the primary contact for key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, product development, and aftersales, to align customer needs with BYD’s offerings.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements to secure profitable business growth.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to drive business development initiatives.
• Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and strategic insights to senior management.
• Represent BYD at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to enhance brand visibility and market presence.

Key Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Sales, Automotive, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in key account management, B2B sales, or business development within the commercial vehicle, logistics, or automotive industry.
• Strong understanding of the truck and van market, particularly in electric vehicles and fleet operations.
• Proven track record of managing international accounts and achieving sales targets.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment and travel internationally as required.
• Fluency in English is required; additional European languages are a plus.
