Operations Manager at Park Plaza Eindhoven
Park Plaza Eindhoven offers 104 stylish rooms and suites in the heart of the City of Light, within walking distance of Central Station, Van Abbemuseum, and Strijp. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the overall service delivery of the hotel, ensuring a seamless and high-quality guest experience across all departments.
Acting as the right hand of the General Manager, you will lead daily operations, support Heads of Department, and drive performance through a hands-on approach. In this role, you will balance operational responsibilities with leadership development, act as deputy in the absence of the General Manager, and take ownership in a dynamic, smaller hotel environment.
Responsibilities
Brand, Guest Experience & Operations
- Ensure the guest experience is consistently delivered across all departments in line with brand and company standards.
- Monitor guest feedback and implement improvements to enhance service delivery.
Finance & Commercial
- Use company reporting tools and data to support operational and commercial decision-making.
- Drive productivity and cost control, including payroll management and adherence to financial targets.
People Management & Leadership
- Lead and support Heads of Department in driving engagement, performance, and development.
- Act as a role model for leadership behaviours aligned with PPHE values and company culture.
Asset Protection & Compliance
- Ensure a safe and secure environment for guests, employees, and visitors in line with regulations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and data protection standards.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in a hotel management role (Food & Beverage Manager or Front Office), ready to step into an Operations Manager position.
- Strong hands-on operational mindset with the ability to lead by example across F&B (breakfast/events).
- Experience managing teams and overseeing daily operations within a hotel environment.
- Ability to operate effectively within a smaller hotel structure and take ownership across departments.
- Strong focus on guest experience and consistent service delivery.
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English (written and spoken).
- Eligible to work in the Netherlands.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience within an international hotel group.
- Familiarity with PPHE Hotel Group or Radisson Hotel Group standards.
- Experience working with hotel systems and reporting tools.
- BHV and Social Hygiene trained.
