Senior Experience Designer – Business Lending

You & your job

As a designer in the domain of Business Lending, you will be working on the digital transformation of a loan application process for our small and large clients in the Dutch market. Your main task will be to conceptualize, design, and improve journeys for our business platforms.

You understand the needs and expectations of our bankers and clients, and you are responsible for the creation of design concepts used in the complex financial workflows of a loan application process.

In a nutshell, you will...

• Drive the strategic direction for loan applications; research users and usage; and visualize, create, and iterate design concepts that help guide the product teams.
• Be comfortable in the fuzzy front-end of the design process and enjoy the complexity of defining design tasks with stakeholders.
• Act as a team builder who strives to bring people together and stabilize a design team.

Your responsibilities

• Work together with PO’s, BA’s, and developers to translate business requirements into innovative concepts.
• Improve new and existing workflows and help us build scalable products.
• Apply the Rabobank design system during concept development and design new components to extend our library.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and other stakeholders to ensure a strong development process and a high-quality outcome.
• Work together with other designers and be responsible for all steps in the design process, involving other designers and specialists when needed.
• Work on complex user interfaces as both a structured strategic thinker and a creator of pixel-perfect designs.

• Salary: Gross monthly salary between EUR 5,994 and EUR 8,563 (scale 10) for a 36-hour work week.

You & your talent

We are looking for a multi-talented senior designer who can use creativity, problem-solving, and communication skills to handle the complex context of a bank.

• You have 10+ years of experience in UX design and confidently take responsibility and ownership of design projects.
• You have experience leading a design team and coaching junior designers. You enjoy bringing positive energy and acting as a stabilizing factor in a team.
• You are comfortable working with a large stakeholder field including architects, process managers, product owners, and business analysts across financing journeys. You can manage these different perspectives and interests.
• You are fluent with design and prototyping tools like Figma and familiar with ideation and user research methods.
• You are familiar with user journeys and system maps and can build the bridge between identified pain points and concrete digital solutions.
• You gain energy from working on complex products with possible technical challenges.
• You can communicate professionally in English. Knowledge of the Dutch language is a plus.
