At Lely’s global technical support organization, technology, service and operations come together. From Lely Campus in Maassluis, you support the international service network and help translate technical challenges into structured solutions and improvements.

As a Junior Technical Service Support Engineer within the Manure team, you work from headquarters and support colleagues across the world. You are not working on machines on farms. Instead, you help solve technical questions remotely, improve processes and strengthen how products are supported globally.

You support the Lely Clusters, regional organizations across the world, who in turn support the Lely Centers and farmers locally. This means you play an important role behind the scenes, ensuring knowledge, insights and solutions are shared effectively across the global network.

Together with experienced specialists, you contribute to the continuous improvement of systems such as the Discovery Collector, Discovery Scraper and Lely Sphere, helping to make farming more sustainable and efficient.

As you build your knowledge and grow into the role, you will also become part of the 24/7 on-call support rotation, ensuring continuous support for the global network when it is needed.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting Lely Clusters and service teams remotely with technical questions and ensuring clear follow-up.
  • Helping to analyze recurring issues and contributing to structured improvements in products or processes.
  • Collecting and organizing feedback from the field and sharing it with product development teams.
  • Supporting coordination and maintaining overview across ongoing support topics.
  • Contributing to training materials, documentation and knowledge sharing for service technicians worldwide.
  • Participating in the on-call support rotation after your onboarding period.

What is your experience?

You enjoy working in an international environment where you connect people, information and technology. You bring structure to complex topics and are motivated to continuously learn and improve.

Additionally, you bring the following:

  • A completed Bachelor's or Master's degree, for example in Mechanical Engineering, Technical Business Administration or a similar field.
  • Experience in or strong affinity with a technical support or service environment.
  • Analytical skills and the ability to translate complex issues into clear steps.
  • A structured way of working and the ability to maintain overview.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with colleagues across regions.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written, and an interest in learning Dutch over time.

Even if you do not meet every requirement yet, motivation and willingness to learn are considered just as important as experience.

What you can expect from us

Working at Lely means contributing to sustainable progress within one of the most innovative organizations in the Netherlands. You help make the agricultural sector future-proof, and you are given the space, resources, and support needed to do so.
