Haskoning is committed to creating inspiring workplaces for its employees, and in this role you will play an important part in making this happen.

As Facility Manager Netherlands, you are the end-to-end accountable leader for all Facility Management activities across Haskoning offices in the Netherlands. You ensure that workplaces are safe, efficient, welcoming and aligned with the organisation’s ambitions—today and in the future.

This is a newly established leadership role, created to professionalise and position Facility Management as a visible, trusted, and strategic capability within the corporate group Digital and Workplace Solutions.

You lead a team of Local Facility Managers, Event Management, and Travel & Fleet Management, acting as the critical link between strategy and execution. Your total team size is around 25 - 30 FTE. You ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery and a strong employee and visitor experience across all offices. In everything you do, you are guided by our purpose, Enhancing Society Together, and contribute to achieving the sustainability goals set by the organisation.

You also play a key role in strengthening the visibility of Facility Management across the organisation, ensuring that Facility Management is recognised as an accessible and reliable partner. For more complex issues, escalations or major incidents, you act as the senior point of accountability and escalation, providing direction and oversight.

Key responsibilities

  • Full accountability for Facility Management NL across all offices (performance, quality, safety and compliance)
  • Lead and develop the Facility Management NL organisation
  • Define and implement a clear vision and roadmap for future-oriented Facility Management
  • Act as senior business partner to leadership
  • Ensure consistent service quality and hospitality standards across all offices

  • Ensure clear communication structures during incidents, including alignment with QHSE, IT and Real Estate where relevant

Where you will work

At Haskoning, you will join an independent, employee-owned international consultancy that combines engineering, design, and consultancy services with software and technology.

As our new Facility Manager Netherlands, you will become part of the corporate group Digital & Workplace Solutions (DWS) in the Netherlands. DWS provides services to the internal organisation, enabling colleagues to serve their clients in the best possible way.

DWS’s activities are divided across three domains: Enterprise IT & Services, Real Estate & Facility, and Digital & AI. In addition, there is a separate team for information security. The structure of DWS was recently reorganised to allow the three domains to come into their own more effectively. As a result, several new roles have been created, including that of Facility Manager Netherlands. This role will be part of Real Estate & Facility.
